Bandar Abbas (IP) - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that the unprecedented action of the Iranian Navy’s 86th flotilla in carrying out this difficult and heavy mission turned out to be the beginning of a new era for the Armed Forces

Iran PressIran news: Major General Mohammad Bagheri, further added: "This event is not a small one, we can see it in the meetings and negotiations that even rich countries do not have such courage."

According to Iran Press, on his visit to Bandar Abbas, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the ceremony of officially welcoming the Iranian Navy’s 86th flotilla, which has returned to the country after 8 months of sailing around the globe, said: "After crossing the waves of the infinite seas, the sea men have passed through the waves of faith and will that they were able to accomplish this mission and our comrades were able to implement the apparently impossible task."

He added: "Various incidents have shown us that we have no other way to achieve honor and pride as well as achieving our goals and ideals than to follow the path of honor, power and authority."

Major General Bagheri stated that in this direction, naval authority is one of the most important and perhaps the most important factors of Iran's power, and said: "We have nothing lacking to become a great maritime power if our government and officials pay more attention to this issue than before. The country's development path will be provided through maritime power more than in the past."

The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that the unprecedented action of the Army Navy in carrying out this difficult mission served as the origin of a new era for the Armed Forces, and emphasized: "This event is not a small one. Rich countries do not have such courage."

Iran's Top military official then continued: "This is our army, which, at the pick of the sanctions and various pressures, are buckling down and taking such a dangerous route with the all-Iranian destroyer Dena and the Makran warship.
