Tehran (IP) - According to Iran's vice president for science, technology, and knowledge-based economics, a $16 million final and operational contract between knowledge-based and large oil companies will be signed on Saturday at the oil industry exhibition.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking on the sidelines of his visit to the 27th International Oil and Gas Exhibition on Saturday, the Iranian vice president for science, technology, and knowledge-based economics, Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, told Iran Press: "The oil and energy industry is very progressive in the world."

He added that all competitions in this field are based on technology. There are countries that do not have any energy resources, but they are influential in this field due to the success gained in technology.

Dehghani Firouzabadi emphasized: "This year's exhibition is very busy and knowledge-based companies are also seriously present. This presence will become stronger every year and I suggested a more spacious place for them next year."

The vice president for Science and Technology tries to provide the necessary market for knowledge-based companies.

The coming years will be brilliant years for knowledge-based companies in the field of oil and gas, he concluded.
