Chabahar (IP): Speaking at the joint news conference with Pakistan's PM on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Polan-Gabad electricity transmission line on Thursday Iran's President called historic ties between the two sides as exemplary.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi expressed his happiness over boosting ties between Iran and Pakistan as well as praising today as the time of manifestation of boosting cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

He further went on to refer to the deeply rooted ties in the field of common beliefs,  culture, religious affairs and well as civilization-based matters. Calling the ties between Pakistan and Iran exemplary, President Raisi praised the Pakistani nation as a nation with deep understanding, civilization, and interest in the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

President  Raisi then stated that the different levels of ties and relations have been existing between the two sides in various fields and it is being promoted and improved day by day.

President Raisi further appreciated the presence of Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Iran's zero border point along with his high-ranking delegation.

Besides, earlier before President Raisi's address during the joint news conference with Shehbaz Sharif Iran's Minister of Energy Ali Akbar Mehrabian also praised the event as a way to boost Iran-Pakistan ties and called it the opportunity to boost transactions in fields of economy, society politics in the region.

Iran's Minister of Energy also referred to deeply rooted historic ties and links between Iran and Pakistan and stressed that the two nations are proud of such bilateral cooperation.
