Tehran(IP): The head of Iran's National Development Fund Executive Board said: Currently, the cash balance of the National Development Fund is 10 billion dollars and its assets amount to 150 billion dollars.

Iran PressIran news: Mehdi Ghazanfari, head of the National Development Fund's executive committee, speaking at the third international conference of the National Development Fund on the topic of new governance in the National Development Fund, which was held this morning at IRIB Conference center, said that this fund has 150 billion dollars in assets, adding: The cash balance is 10 billion dollars, but the fund's assets are worth 150 billion dollars.

Zabihullah Khodayian, the head of the country's inspection organization, also in a speech referring to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's discretion in maintaining the reserve of this fund, said: "If it were not for his discretion, the fund's balance would not even be one dollar."

Khodaian added: "If any sums were given to the government, it was a facility and the government is obliged to return it." Of course, in cases such as flood and coronavirus, the government has been given gratuitous aid from this fund.

The third international conference of the National Development Fund, on the subject of new governance in the National Development Fund, was held on Sunday morning at the IRIB Conference Center.
