Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs and the head of Hamas Movement, discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the brutal invasion of the Gaza Strip by the Israeli regime.

Iran PressIran News:  Since last Tuesday, the Israeli regime's fighter jets have carried out attacks on Gaza, as a result of which 33 Palestinians, including 6 commanders of the Quds Battalions of the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, were martyred.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a telephone conversation with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Friday evening.

In this phone call, Iran's top diplomat strongly condemned Israeli regime's brutal attack on the Gaza Strip, assassination of resistance leaders, the targeting of residential areas and the killing of innocent Palestinian people, especially women and children.

He added that these aggressive attacks are clear violation of human rights by this regime, and these actions depict the weakness and helplessness of the Zionists against brave Palestinian resistance.

While appreciating the heroic resistance of the Palestinian nation and jihadist groups against these aggressions, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the necessity of the international community's support for Palestine and its legitimate resistance against the Zionist occupation.

In this telephone conversation, Ismail Haniyeh expressed his gratitute towards Iran for its political positions in support of Palestine and the close coordination of the resistance groups to counter the aggressive attacks of the Zionist regime.

The head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement added: "The resistance will determine the fate of this Zionist aggression and the Israeli regime has no choice but to surrender." 219
