Iran Press/ Europe: Rodrygo has scored twice to lead Real Madrid to their first Copa del Rey title in nearly a decade with a 2-1 win over Osasuna.
The Brazil forward was set up by Vinicius Junior to give Madrid the lead after just two minutes at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.
Osasuna’s Lucas Torro equalised midway through the second half, before Rodrygo restored Madrid’s lead for good in the 70th minute.
Since winning their last Copa del Rey in 2014, Madrid have won four Champions Leagues – taking their overall tally in the competition to 14 – while falling short in the domestic cup.
Madrid now hold 20 Copa del Rey titles, behind only Barcelona (31) and Athletic Bilbao (23).
