Tehran(IP)- The National Security Adviser of the Prime Minister of India, who has traveled to Tehran, met and talked with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran on political and security relations.

Iran PressIran news: Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, and Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of India, exchanged views on political and security relations, especially bilateral and multilateral economic issues.

Last year, Shamkhani and Doval met and consulted with each other on the sidelines of the fourth regional security dialogue meeting in Tajikistan.

India is one of the main members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), and considering the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran for close economic cooperation with the member countries of these two organizations and groups, continuous interaction with New Delhi can play a decisive role in advancing the desired goals in this regard.
