Tehran (IP) - The Legal Court of Tehran sentenced the US to pay compensation to the victims of the terrorist attacks on the Iranian Parliament and Imam Khomeini Mausoleum.

Iran Press/Iran news: It was on Juan 7, 2017, that a number of Daesh (ISIS) terrorist elements attacked Iran's Parliament and Imam Khomeini's Mausoleum where 17 Iranian people got martyred. 

Based on the court verdict, the US must pay the victims' families $9.95 million, $104 million, and $199 million respectively as material, spiritual and punitive damages. 

The plaintiffs are the families of three of those killed by the terrorists and six of those who were maimed due to the attacks. 

The former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admitted in her 2016 presidential election campaign that it was the US that created Al-Qaeda and Daesh, then the former President Donald Trump confirmed that in some scathing speech against his rivals, and now the democrat candidate for the 2024 presidential elections reiterated the admission.

The US-backed Daesh or ISIS seized main parts of Iraq and Syria to settle its rule, where it shed blood and beheaded many people. 

The notorious terrorist group was dismantled by the Resistance Front led by Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and the cooperation of Russia.
