Tehran(IP) - The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar exchanged views on the developments in Ukraine and the negotiations to lift sanctions over phone.

Iran PressIran News: Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, on Friday in a telephone call, while congratulating the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to each other, stressed the strengthening of mutual cooperation, and discussed the topics of interest.

They also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including developments in Ukraine and negotiations to lift sanctions.

The relations between Iran and Qatar are among the stable and friendly relations in the West Asian region, which had suffered fewer ups and downs.

The peaceful and friendly aspect of Iran-Qatar relations is due to the positive understanding of each other and their behavior pattern in foreign policy.
