Sarajevo (IP) - On the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, the Muslims of Bosnia and Herzegovina once again declared their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation by participating in the International Quds Day rally.

Iran PressEurope: The participants in the International Quds Day rally in Sarajevo, carrying photos and posters of the International Quds Day and the big flag of Palestine, chanted the slogan in favor of Palestine and also condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Also, on the occasion of International Quds Day, an Iftar banquet was held at the initiative of the Iranian Embassy in Sarajevo.

In this ceremony, ambassadors and diplomats of Islamic countries in Sarajevo, officials, and political figures were present.

Mashallah Shakri, the caretaker of Iran's embassy in Sarajevo, said that Ramadan is the month of solidarity and unity among Muslims, and on International Quds Day, all Muslims around the world declare their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian cause.

He has pointed out that Palestine is a symbol of resistance, a symbol of hope, and a symbol of a bright future, and "as a representative of Iran, I once again declare the solidarity of the Iranian people with the Palestinian people".

While appreciating the holding of a ceremony appropriate to Quds Day, the Palestinian Ambassador in Sarajevo, "Razeq Namoureh" said that in Palestine, every day is Quds Day, and the Palestinians are walking firmly on their path despite oppression and are hoping for a bright future.
