Iran Press/ Iran news: In a tweet on Thursday, April 13, Nasser Kanaani wrote: "The news released about the US military biological laboratories in Ukraine and some countries of the world is deeply worrying."
The Russian Duma's commission for investigating the US biological labs in Ukraine announced in a report that Washington was working on the development of genome-based weapons across the world that could cause damage to its targets similar to 'nuclear winter'.
Kanaani said that such activities were against the US commitment to international laws, especially the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), and a threat to humankind.
The issue requires unbiased international investigation, he stressed.
According to the report of the Russian parliament, besides harming the US-made biological weapons are capable of destroying animals, and agricultural products to cause irreparable damage to the targets.
