Iran Press/ Iran news: Friday, April 14, coincides with the 23rd of the holy month of Ramadan, which is World Quds Day.
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named World Quds Day at the initiative of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Wednesday morning, during the mourning rituals of the 21st night of the holy month of Ramadan and on the night of the martyrdom of Ali (AS), among the pilgrims of Imam Khomeini's shrine (RA), stating that Imam Khomeini (RA) declared the issue of Quds and Palestine as the most important issue of the Muslim world and named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day and the Day of Support for the Oppressed people of Palestine.
He emphasized: "Certainly, the great nation of Iran will once again announce with their enthusiastic presence on the 23rd day of the holy month of Ramadan, which coincides with the International Quds Day, that we will stand by the goals of Islam until the complete liberation of Quds."
Raisi said: "Today, when the ruling system in the world seeks to spread Iranophobia, Islamophobia and Shiaphobia, all of us, including officials, students, scholars, ulemas, preachers, university professors and lecturers , have a duty to talk to the youth and untie their mental knots thanks to Jihad Of explanation."
