Iran Press/ Europe: According to Iran Press news agency, the gathering was held on the eve of International Quds Day, and their purpose is to voice support for Palestine and condemn the new round of crimes committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinians and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Supporters of Palestine carried Palestinian flags with them and expressed solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians in a rally in front of the Israeli Embassy on Tuesday.
In an interview with an Iran Press reporter, "Batoul Sabiti", a British citizen of Lebanese origin and a political activist, said that World Quds Day is the most important day for the defense of the Palestinian people.
This British citizen stated that World Quds Day is an important day for demonstrations against oppressive powers, Imam Khomeini named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Quds Day and the day to defend the oppressed of the world so that a united Islamic nation can rise up for the liberation of Palestine.
The supporter of the Palestinian people added that the world powers created the Israeli regime in the Palestinian lands and the world must remove this continuous oppression.
Batoul Sabiti said: "Quds Day is not only a call to the Islamic Ummah to defend the Palestinians, but also a call to the whole world to defend the right, justice, and the oppressed people of Palestine."
The political activist stated that Quds Day also shows the weakness of the Israeli regime and now the Zionists are at their weakest time.
