The top commander of Special Commando Units of Iran's Law Enforcement Police, Brigadier General Hassan Karami, has praised the performance of the security forces, saying security is a prerequisite for progress, and the progress we see today is truly indebted to the efforts of security forces, and in particular, the Special Commando Units.

Iran news: Stressing that Special Commando Units are part of Iran's security forces, Brigadier General Hassan Karami in an exclusive interview with Iran Press  on Sunday,  said his units have been given the important task of defending the Islamic Revolution at critical junctures in our history.

Speaking at a special commemoration ceremony on Sunday 16 December, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, at the holy shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), Brigadier General Karami said: "Fortunately, the achievements that can be mentioned are Islamic Revolution's achievements, namely the security from which we all benefit!".

He added: "Untiring round-the-clock efforts of various divisions of Law Enforcement Police and security forces, has brought about a deep sense of security within the country, and that includes the efforts made by Special Commando Units."

"In addition, security is a great blessing, people are getting on with their daily lives, the country is advancing rapidly, making progress in various fields, and the country and the Islamic revolution have a great future ahead of them!"

He said: "The Islamic revolution has transcended borders, Iran is fully secure, we have a hard-working population, and a wise leadership provided by the Leader of the Islamic revolution. Today the Islamic revolution is talked about throughout the world, and has become a role-model for all revolutionary peoples of the world."
