News sources reported the arrival of a Saudi delegation to Sana'a for reaching some agreements between the Saudi and Yemeni sides.

Iran PressMiddle East: The eighth year of the Saudi war against Yemen ended on March 26, 2023. Last Friday, Reuters news agency quoted two knowledgeable sources as saying that a Saudi-Omani delegation plans to go to Sana'a next week with the aim of reaching an agreement and a permanent ceasefire in Yemen.

Mohammad Al-Bakhiti, a member of the political office of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, also confirmed the agreement between Sana'a and Riyadh in an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV channel and said that Sana'a is still waiting for Saudi Arabia to implement this agreement.

Al-Bakhiti stated that the understanding reached between Sana'a and Saudi Arabia includes all cases, whether it is to leave the conflict or reach a lasting and comprehensive peace, and this is in the interest of both sides. The Yemeni official noted that the understandings and solutions reached will be implemented in two stages, one before Eid al-Fitr and the other at another time.

Also, an Omani delegation had entered the city of Sana'a this Saturday evening. Meanwhile, the Yemeni Prisoners' Affairs Committee announced that 13 Yemeni prisoners who were held captive in Saudi Arabia were released on Saturday. The release of these 13 Yemeni prisoners was in response to the release of a Saudi prisoner by the Yemenis.
