Iran Press/ Middle East: During the negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia in Beijing, the two countries agreed on Friday, March 10, to resume diplomatic relations after 7 years.
According to the agreement between the two countries, the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia, while meeting with each other, will provide the implementation grounds for the exchange of ambassadors and the reopening of embassies, as well as other requirements for the resumption of relations.
The website of Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper announced that the meeting between Bin Farhan and Amir-Abdollahian in Beijing, which took place after three rounds of telephone conversations between them, includes the next steps to implement the agreement and measures to reopen diplomatic missions, as well as the activation of past agreements between the two countries.
It is said that the selection of China as the meeting place between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia is a continuation of Beijing's positive role in reaching this agreement and facilitating the relationship between Iran and Saudi Arabia. 219
