Yemeni "Zelzal1" ballistic missiles have hit Saudi military positions and sites in Southern province of Jizan on Saturday night.

Middle EastYemeni missiles have struck Saudi military positions in eastern al-Dud region in Saudi Arabia's southern province of Jizan on Saturday night. The special operation was carried out by the Yemeni army and popular committees in retaliation for Saudi military aggression and airstrikes, according to an Iran Press report.

 The home-made ballistic missile which was launched  by the Yemeni army was a "Zelzal1", and it caused extensive damage and resulted in a number of casualties among Saudi soldiers.

 The superiority of the Yemeni army in Saudi Arabia's southern border regions is quite obvious.

The United States, and major European countries, including Britain and France, provide Saudi Arabia with modern weaponry and hardware, as well as intelligence and logistical support.

According to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), since the beginning of the intervention led by Saudi Arabia and its' allies in Yemen in 2015, about 2,400 children have been killed and 3,600 maimed in Yemen.

The military aggression by Saudi Arabia has also affected Yemen by resulting in a severe food and medicine shortage in the country.

Saudi Arabia has been using the precision-guided weapons provided by Washington to strike civilian targets in Yemen.   203/ 211 /103
