Iran Press/ Iran News: Today (Saturday 1st day of April ), the day of the "Islamic Republic", is a real manifestation of the resolution of the great nation of Iran in realizing Islamic honor and determining the country's destiny in the hands of the people of Iran.
Ebrahim Raisi made the remarks on the occasion of the Islamic Republic Day and in the opening ceremony of the 30th Quran International Exhibition on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
He said that Imam Khomeini immediately called for the development of the Constitution based on Islamic rules and teaching.
Raisi also said that the most brilliant point of the Islamic Republic's Constitution was the reconciliation of democracy and causes, as the nobles of other countries acknowledged.
The Iranian president went on to say that in the Quranic culture, voting is mingled with making covenants, a point that other democracies in the world lack, noting that the example of such a privilege was Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) wife Lady Khadija (AS) who freely conferred to Islam and spent her life and asset in service of it and the Prophet's goals.
The Quranic advancements in the country, among other progress, were thanks to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's encouragements and follow-ups.
He stressed that the Quranic culture in the country must shore up altruism, especially more attention to the needy people on the one hand, and promote every good deed along with preventing any bad deed, on the other.
