Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iranpress news agency, after the opening of the water transfer tunnel from the Kani sib reservoir dam to the Urmia lake and the increase in the water level, this lake has come to life and the turquoise jewel of Azerbaijan is hosting tourists these days.
Nowruz travelers from East and West Azerbaijan provinces have chosen Urmia Lake as the main destination for sightseeing and having fun during Nowruz.
In recent days, the water volume of Lake Urmia has reached more than 1 billion 570 million cubic meters, and the hope for the complete restoration of the largest saltwater lake in West Asia has increased.
