Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade reported the signing of the trade agreement with Belarus which is going to increase the two countries' trade up to 450 million.

Iran PressIran news: With regard to Belarus' President's visit to Iran, Reza Fatemi Amin told Iran Press, reporter, on Wednesday that the export of 45,000 cars to Belarus was agreed upon so that over the next two or three years the cars would be sent to the country.

The contract is worth nearly $450 million, Fatemi Amin told Iran Press on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session.

He said that part of the trade between the two countries was based on bartering which was to some extent operationalized.

"For example, potash, the fertilizer used in agriculture needed by Iran, is imported from Belarus, and instead, Iran will export copper to this country."

Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, who visited Iran at the official invitation of president Raisi, arrived in Tehran on Sunday.
