Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Rear Admiral Shamkhani will meet his UAE counterpart and other top officials of the country at Dubai on Thursday.

Iran PressMiddle East: Admiral Shamkhani has been invited officially by his counterpart Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Secretary of UAE Supreme National Security Council.

He will meet with his Emirati counterpart and other senior officials during this trip to discuss revitalizing the JCPOA, lifting sanctions, and other bilateral security-political-related issues.

High economic, banking, and security officials accompany the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.

Earlier on Wednesday, Nour News, a news outlet close to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a tweet announced that Shamkhani would travel to one of the Arab countries of the region before the end of the current Iranian year [to be ended on March 20].

The purpose of his visit is to meet with the high officials of that country and to resolve some important security and economic cases, Nour News added.
