Iran Press/ Middle East: Mahdi Safari, Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy at Iran's Foreign Ministery, said: "An Iranian delegation consisting of representatives of the public and private sectors, especially a group of businessmen, headed by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, is traveling to Baghdad to discuss important issues in various fields and to sign documant on deepening bilateral ties."
The volume of trade between Iran and Iraq in the last 10 months was about 9 million dollars, and during this period Iran's exports increased by 23% to nearly 9 Billion dollars and imports from Iraq decreased by 84% to 146 million dollars.
The fourth meeting of the joint commission between Iran and Iraq was held in Tehran, in October 2020, and it was hosted by the Ministry of Energy. 219
