Minsk (IP) - Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, will arrive in Tehran tomorrow (Sunday), for an official meeting and discussion with high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: The office of the President of Belarus in a statement said that Lukashenko will pay a two days visit in Tehran and he will meet and talk with the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.

On the sidelines of the 16th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand, the presidents of Iran and Belarus tasked the foreign ministries of the two countries to work to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations.

Development of all-around cooperation and economic and commercial relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus are on the agenda of Lukashenko during his visit to Tehran.

Lukashenko is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation on this trip.

The officials of the two countries will exchange views on industrial, agricultural, and transportation plans in their meetings and negotiations.

Also, during Lukashenko's visit, special attention will be paid to regional and global issues.
