Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) the West has come to terms with Iran as a country in possession of nuclear science and technology.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad Eslami said on Thursday that the West's only alternative to Iran is to approach the country through the language of diplomacy.

Eslami said that since the days before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies have been trying to stop Iran from achieving a nuclear fuel cycle, but today they have accepted the issue.

Today, Iran is among the prominent countries in terms of nuclear knowledge, thanks to the reliance on its domestic engineers, he added.

The head of AEOI pointed out: "If the country was deprived of nuclear technology, today we would not be able to do anything to treat nuclear patients because they are at the forefront of nuclear technology for treatment and health purposes."

Iran is among the nuclear countries that have signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in the world, giving access to the representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to monitor its facilities.

The US used 'Little Boy' and 'Fat Man' in its bombarding of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan, in August 1945.
