Doha (IP) - Iran's Vice President for Executive Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar reviewed the solutions to remove the obstacles to the expansion and development of relations between the two countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: Qatar is one of the target countries in Iran's foreign policy, and a review of the history of bilateral relations shows that Tehran-Doha relations have always been deep and growing.

Vice President of Iran for Executive Affairs has traveled to Doha, Qatar, to participate in the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5 ). On the sidelines of the conference, he met and talked with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

In this meeting, the solutions to remove obstacles to the expansion and development of relations were discussed by both sides.

Also, Iran's Vice President for Executive Affairs considered the high level of political relations and the good neighborliness between the two countries as an opportunity to expand and develop relations between them in various fields.

Mansouri said: "Iran's transit capacities, especially the North-South corridor, can play a constructive role in the development of cooperation and relations between countries in the region."
