Tehran (IP) - The Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution stressed that the authorities should seriously pursue the issue of student poisoning and stated that it's a big and unforgivable crime.

Iran PressIran News: On the occasion of Tree Planting Day, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei planted saplings in the yard of his office before noon on Monday.

 

On the sidelines of the Tree Planting Day ceremony, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated: "If the poisoning of the students is proven, the perpetrators of the crime should be severely punished. There will be no amnesty for these people."

In recent weeks, news has been published about the poisoning of students in some Iranian schools. 

The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has assigned the Minister of Interior to conduct an investigation in this field and announce the result to the people.

Ayatollah Khamenei also stated: "Today, we are among the few countries that have the protection of the environment in their constitution. In our constitution, the protection of the environment has been specified, and this is an important thing. No one should violate this law, and this is one of the prominent privileges of our constitution."
