Tehran (IP) - A high-ranking official of the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization reported the opening of Iran's largest business complex in Afghanistan.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad-Sadegh Ghannadzadeh said in a televised interview on Saturday that the volume of trade between the two countries reached about $1.5 billion per year.

Ghannadzadeh pointed to the cultural common grounds between Iran and Afghanistan and said that there was yet to increase in the trade volume. 

Today, in the presence of an Iranian business delegation, the largest trade center of Iran would be opened in Kabul, he reported.

Ghannadzadeh said the Iranian business complex is an 11-story commercial tower, with some 30 to 40 companies which are ready to be settled in the complex.
