Iran Press/ Iran news: The spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry said: "Following the interventionist and irresponsible actions of the German government in the internal and judicial affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, two German diplomats are expelled as persona non grata."
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran will act decisively against avarice."
Germany announced on February 24, it is expelling two Iranian diplomats in response to Iran’s sentencing a German national to death.
The move came a day after Iranian authorities announced the sentence for Jamshid Sharmahd, who was convicted of terrorism charges.
