Iran Press/ Middle East: The Al-Aqaba meeting will be held today Sunday in Jordan with the presence of Zionist officials, the United States, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority and the host country.
Jordan is set to host a meeting between top Israeli and Palestinian officials in a bid to halt a surge in deadly violence in the occupied West Bank that has stoked fears of a wider escalation, according to officials.
Also, the Palestinian people in the Jenin camp declared their opposition to the presence of the Palestinian Authority at the Al-Aqaba meeting in Jordan by holding a demonstration.
People in Al-Dahisheh camp in Bethlehem also condemned the Aqaba security meeting.
This demonstrtion took place after the Palestinian groups demanded the presence of people in the streets and opposed the presence of the Palestinian Authority in the Aqaba meeting.
The Palestinian resistance groups, pointing out that this meeting is not for the benefit of their nation, but an unpaid service to the Zionist regime, announced that instead of a security agreement with Israel, the the Palestinian Authority organization should move towards national unity. 219
