Adıyaman (IP) - With the occurrence of two terrible earthquakes of seven and eight magnitudes on Richter scales in southern Turkey, Iran, as a neighboring country, is helping the Turkish earthquake-hit victims.

According to Iran Press correspondent, the earthquake in Turkey has caused extensive damage to the houses and infrastructure of southern Turkey.

In addition to helping remove rubble, the Islamic Republic of Iran is also supporting the victims of the earthquake in Turkey in terms of providing medical services.

In this framework, the field hospital of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army has been established in the earthquake-affected areas of southern Turkey.

With the request of the Minister of Defense of Turkey from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a field hospital with a capacity of 50 beds has been established in the earthquake-stricken city of Adiyaman.

In response to the question of Iran Press, Habib Sadr, the head of the Health and Medical Department of the Iranian Army said: "Like the hospital established in the city of Adiyaman, such a hospital with full equipment has been established in the earthquake-affected areas of Khoi.

Mahmoud Sheikh Hassani, the head of the Air Department of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, also said that the Red Crescent Society of Iran has sent rescue teams with a capacity of about 120 people to Turkey with full equipment.

The field hospital of the Iranian army in the south of Turkey is fully equipped and independent, and the rescue chain is provided in this hospital.
