Tehran(IP)- The closing ceremony of the 41st International Fajr Film Festival was held at Tehran’s Milad Tower, as the winners of the festival's prestigious prize known as ' Crystal Simorgh' were announced.

Iran PressIran news: Iran’s minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, and Minister of Education and Training, Yousef Nouri are among tonight's guests.

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeli, at the closing of the 41st Fajr Film Festival said: For the first time in Fajr Film Festivals, a President came to the festival and watched a movie among the people. This festival belongs to the people and the Islamic revolution.

International section; 'Hook' movie

In the international section of the festival in the inter-religion category the reward for the best film went to 'Hook' directed by Hossein Rigi.

The international award in the 'Resistance' category also went to The Stranger directed by Mohammad Hossein Latif. He dedicated his reward to Martyr Boroujerdi.

Mohammad Askari received the Crystal Simorgh for the 'Muddy Room', in the Resistance category.  

He also dedicated his award to the martyrs he narrated their story in his film.

Eastern Vista Category; Rakhsa Sobhani

In the Eastern Vista category, the crystal Simorgh for the best artistic achievement went to Rakhsa Sobhani who played in Hook.

The reward for the best screenplay went to the Kyrgyz playwriter for 'Divine Gift'. The Chinses director also received the award for best direction for HarHu. The Mongolian director received the award for the best film 'Full Moon'.

Bassil al-Khatib from Syria won the special award of the jury for Dar ul-Hakim (The Sage House).

Felicity Cinema Section; 'Fairy Tale' from Russia

In the Felicity Cinema, the crystal Simorgh for the best artistic achievement went to 'Fairy Tale' from Russia.

The reward for the best screenplay went to the Russian playwriter for 'Burry me without Ivan.'

The Indian director also received the award for the best direction for 'Shivana.' The director dedicated the award to the Iranian director's Abbas Kiarostami, Majid Majidi, and Asghar Farhadi.

The special award of the jury for 'The Cold Relief' to Nahid Azizi, the director. 

Qatar and India won the award for the best film for their 'Winter of Inside'.

Poster Category; 'Birou' movie

In the poster category, the crystal Simorgh for the best film poster went to Mohammad Rouholamini for the 'Birou'.

The crystal Simorgh for the best film teaser also went to Kiumars Beik Zand for 'Ti Ti'.

Short Film Category; 'Brno' film

In the short film section, Crystal Simorgh for the best film went to Mohammad Sorayya for the 'Brno'.

In the long documentary film section, Crystal Simorgh for the best film went to Farshad Afshinpour for the 'Zagross' Wild World'.

The Soday-e Simorgh award as the next section of the ceremony began with the 'Soldier of Motherland' prize as the special award.

Here, Golden Simorgh went to Mohammad Hossein Latifi the director of 'The Strange'.

Appreciating the sacrifices martyr Boroujerdi did for the people of Kordestan Province during the Sacred Defense, Latifi dedicated his award to the people of Kordestan.

Honor Diploma for the best visual effects went to Amir Valikhani for 'The Strange'.

Crystal Simorgh for the best visual effects went to Hassan Izadi for 'Bavardeh Flowers'

Crystal Simorgh for the best field visual effects went to Hamid Rasoulaian for 'The Strange'.

Crystal Simorgh for the best make-up went to Shahram Khalaj for 'The Stranger' and 'Number 10.'

Crystal Simorgh for the best Mise-en-scène went to Mohammad Reza Shojaee for 'The Stranger' and 'Number 10.'

Crystal Simorgh for the best clothing design went to Sara Samiee for the 'Memorial of the South'.

Crystal Simorgh for the best sound section went to Amir Nobakht and Alireza Alavian for the 'Memorial of the South'.

Crystal Simorgh for the best edit went to Meisam Mowlaee for 'Why Don't You Cry'.

Honor Diploma for the best first film went to Leili Aaj for 'Colonel Sorayya.'

Honor Diploma for the first film best to Babak Khajepasha for "in the Embrace of Tree'.

Crystal Simorgh for the first film went to Mohammad Askari for directing 'Muddy Room.'

Crystal Simorgh for the best filming went to Alireza Zarrindast for 'Cinema Metropol'.

Crystal Simorgh for the best supporting actress role went to Sara Hatami for 'Leather Coat'. 

Crystal Simorgh Honor Diploma for the best supporting actor role went to Human Barghnavard for 'Cinema Metropol'. 

Honor Diploma for the best supporting actor role went to Farhad Ghaemian for 'The Stranger'. 

Honor Diploma for the best actor role went to Pejman Jamshidi for 'Memorial of the South'.
