Tehran(IP)- On the 9th and last day of the 41st edition of Iran's Fajr International Film Festival, Pardis Mellat Cineplex in Tehran screened 'Anha Mara Dost Dashtand' (They Loved Me).

Iran PressIran news: Being set in the southern part of Tehran, 'They Loved Me', was directed by Mohammad-Reza Rahmani, which is considered his fifth experience.

'They Loved Me' tells the story of a young couple whose child was diagnosed with an incurable disease; while asking for help, they got that the child was not their own.

During the press brief about the film, the director highlighted that the 41st edition of Iran's Fajr International Film Festival was where new faces were introduced to the cinema sphere. 

Amir Jafari, Amir Hossein Arman, Leila Bloukat, Nasim Adabi, Shahram Quaidi, Hadi Taslimi, Nafas Azizi, and Mahsa Esmaili were starring in 'They Loved Me'.

The international film festival is scheduled from February 1 to 11, 2023, in Tehran in two competitive and non-competitive sections.
