The head of the Iranian Amputee Football Association announced that three Iranian International players have died in Turkiye's earthquake.

Iran PressAsia: Jafar Askari, the head of the Iranian Amputee Football Association announced that the lifeless bodies of Mohammad Reza Mirahmadi, Mehdi Saeedavi, and Hamed Matroudi, who were buried under the rubble of the earthquake in Turkey, have been found.

Life for millions across Turkey and Syria changed forever on Monday, as two consecutive earthquakes sent shockwaves across hundreds of miles.

Nine hours apart and with magnitudes of 7.8 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, the quakes rocked Turkey and Syria and were the region’s strongest in nearly a century.

According to the latest reports, the death toll from the Turkey-Syria earthquakes has passed 19,000. At least 16,170 people have died in Turkey, while at least 3,162 have been killed in Syria.
