Türkiye (IP): Exprereinceing the devastating earthquake in southern Türkiye, Earthquake victims call for faster relief.

Iran PressAsia: More than 16,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands injured after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on Monday, according to officials.

While rescuers continue to work frantically to save survivors from the rubble of collapsed buildings in Turkey, the chances of finding many more people alive are fading rapidly more than 72 hours after the devastating earthquakes.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the countries that is supporting and helping the relief process in the earthquake-affected areas of southern Türkiye.

According to Iranpress reports from the earthquake-hit regions of southern Türkiye, three days after the unprecedented earthquake in southern Turkey, a large number of earthquake victims are still trapped under the rubble.

A Turkish citizen living in the Kahramanmaraş area said in an interview with the Iran press correspondent, "I have been waiting for three days to hear about my son, who is under the rubble, if this debris is removed, there might be a chance for him to survive."

Another person explains with sadness and concern, my two children are under the rubble, one is 12 years old and one is 15 years old, we are all calling to hear a voice from them.

This Turkish citizen emphasized, we are in trouble here, please help us for God's sake.

A Turkish male citizen also sadly told the Iran press correspondent that three days have passed, but the aid delivery is slow, the debris should be removed as soon as possible, and the people are all wandering.

At the same time as the terrible earthquake of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in the south of Türkiye, the Iran press photography and journalist team are present in the earthquake-hit area and provide the coverage of the latest news to the Iran press audience.
