Iran Press/ Iran news: Delivering a speech to the ambassador of foreign countries to Iran on Thursday on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said: " We made it clear to the White House officials that they had to choose between sending official messages to acknowledge the final step of the agreement in Vienna and conventional media statements."
Practicing double standard policies would not be effective in the JCPO revival process, Amir- Abdollahian noted and went on: "The great Iranian nation knows very well that if the other [Western] parties really seek to return to the agreement and with a realistic outlook, the Islamic Republic of Iran will support a strong and stable agreement."
Iran's international nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was signed between the country and the P5+1 group, including Russia, China, the UK, France, the US, and Germany in 2015, but the US withdrew from the agreement on May 18, 2018, re-imposing more sanctions on Iran.
