Tehran (IP) - Iran's President called on the ambassadors to Tehran to introduce the country's programs for maintaining peace and stability in the world.

Iran PressIran news: 44 years ago, on the 12th of Bahman 357 in Persian Calender (February 1, 1979), Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after fifteen years of exile and distance from his homeland, stepped into the soil of Islamic Iran amid the enthusiastic welcome of the people.

Ten days after his arrival in Iran, on the 22nd of Bahman 1357 (February 11, 1979), the glorious Islamic Revolution of Iran won.

Every year, since then, from the 12th day of Bahman, which is the day of Imam Khomeini's (RA) arrival in Iran, to the 22nd day of Bahman, which is the day of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, it is called the "Decade of Dawn" and every year, special celebrations and ceremonies for the victory of the Islamic Revolution took place in It is held these days.

Speaking to the ambassador of the foreign countries to Iran on Thursday, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the last year's developments across the world and said the developments showed that the world was in need of dialogue and mutual understanding. 

Expressing sympathy with the Syrian and Turkish nations and governments, Raisi said Iran was ready to help the countries to fulfill its human-Islamic duties. 

At the ceremony held on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, President Raisi recalled that the Iranian nation's uprising against the US-backed Shah regime originated from decades of foreign interventions in Iran and the humiliation of the people. 

He then referred to the Islamic Republic's achievements in different areas, including academic science, health care, biotechnology, nanotechnology, military, aerospace, etc., and stressed that Iran was ready to share its knowledge and experience for the promotion of peace and prosperity in the world. 

Emphasizing the issue of Palestine, Raisi highlighted the Israeli regime's 70-year occupation of Palestine and noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran always supports the Palestinians' efforts to liberate their homeland. 

He stressed referendum as the very solution to the Palestinian issue so that they could have a democratic government. 

 

The Iranian President mentioned the world's arrogant powers' unilateralism and domination along with their double standard about human rights issues as the elements escalating tensions throughout the region and the world. 

For example, he referred to the recent unrest in Iran, backed by some Western countries including the US, and noted that in an all-around hybrid war, they did their utmost to misrepresent the women's status in Iran and tarnish the reputation of the county in the world by their campaigns failed. 

 

Raisi highlighted the women's participation in different arenas in Iran from politics and management to sports, arts, and science which was incomparable to Shah's era. 

The Iranian President also talked about the JCPOA and the Western party's failure to commit to their obligation endorsed in the internationally signed agreement, criticizing the for their non-constructive behaviors that originated from their "illusion" and "wrong calculation". 

With regard to the foreign policy of the Islamic republic, President Raisi noted that Iran seeks dialogue with other countries based on mutual interest, putting the expansion of relations with its neighbors and other Asian countries on the agenda for neutralizing the West's sanctions.  

In the end, President Raisi received the ambassadors one by one.
