The spokesperson of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the continuation of efforts to bring closer the views between Iran and Western countries in the nuclear negotiations.

Iran PressMiddle East: Qatar's Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani visited Tehran last Sunday and met and discussed with Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

Majid Al-Ansari, on Wednesday night about the recent visit of Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani to Iran, said: "So far, there is no arrangement to start a new round of negotiations between Iran and the Western parties regarding Iran's nuclear program."

He added: "Qatar's mediation continues to provide proposals to facilitate the return of the parties to negotiations, and Doha will not stop playing this role until the he nuclear agreement that guarantees security and peace in the region, is signed."

Qatar always tries to mediate in various regional issues among countries. So far, Doha has mediated many times in the talks between Iran and the West and has tried to bring the views closer together. 219
