Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Interior said all groups in the country have been mobilized to aid the people harmed by the earthquake in Khoi city, northwest of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 on the scale of internal earth waves (Richter scale range) occurred on Saturday night, January 28, in different areas of Khoi city. This natural disaster has caused damage to people's houses, personal belongings, and cars.

On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Ahmad Vahidi told reporters that the people were provided with heating appliances, along with a large amount of other assistance.

More than 20,000 tents and 45 accommodation camps have been established to accommodate quake-hit people, Vahidi said.
