Iran (IP) - The Iranian expert at Amir-Kabir Technical University managed to achieve the technology of producing the world's lightest material, Aerographene.

Iran PressIran news: The leader of the project Arash Ghazitabar said that the material could be used in various industries and was of paramount importance to the world's industrial companies.

All the equipment involved in the production of the material is domestic, and the production of it is feasible on a large scale.

Ghazitabar says Aerographene increases batteries and supercapacitors' capacity, prolongs their lifespan up to 5 times, reduces environmental risks, and decreases the weight of the device made of it.

Aerographen also increases corrosion resistance, improves absorption of electromagnetic waves, and protects devices and equipment against these waves, he added.
