Iran and Tajikistan have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the pharmaceutical industry.

Iran PressIran News: According to the Iranian Health Ministry, the MoU was signed in the presence of the ministry’s Director General of International Affairs Mohammad Hossein Niknam, the Tajik ambassador to Tehran, and a delegation from Tajikistan.

The ministry did not provide further details about the MoU.

Niknam said that the document was signed following visits by the Tajik delegation to Iranian pharmaceutical companies and centers which were praised by the Tajik side for the progress they have made.

He also said that Iran and Tajikistan have good political relations, with grounds already prepared to expand mutual cooperation in other sectors.
