Urmia (IP)- According to the governor of Khoy, capital of Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran, a 5,4 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday, January 18th, injured nearly 200which ten people underwent surgery, and 24 people were hospitalized.

16 Aftershocks were registered in Khoy city. 

Khoy city in the north of West Azarbaijan has been shaken 16 times since 1:38 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023of which were more than 3 on the Richter scale, and the largest one was 5.4 on the Richter scale.
