Syria (IP) - The Syrian artists in Aleppo depicted a part of the sacrifices practiced to liberate the city while in the fight against the terrorist ISIS group.

Iran PressMiddle East: Under the command of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the Syrian Army forces along with the Resistance Front forces managed to liberate the historical and strategic city of Aleppo in December 2016. 

Around 50 artists from Aleppo showcased their artworks in the exhibition, including carving on stones and painting. 

According to a member of Aleppo's board of artists assembly, Ebrahim Davoud, the expo was set up to commemorate the heroes martyred in the fight against ISIS

Stressing the commemoration of the Syrian army and their allies' martyrs, he expressed hope that peace would be maintained across Syria.
