Tehran (IP) - Iran's President says deepening economic, cultural, and political ties and cooperation with the Islamic countries is the top priority of the current administration in the country.

Iran PressIran news: While receiving the credentials from Khairi Bin Omar, the new Ambassador of Malaysia to Tehran, on Sunday, Ebrahim Raisi stated that the relations between the two Muslim countries, especially after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, have been developing. 

Raisi said: "Considering the great capacities available in the two countries, we hope that these capacities will lead to the further development of the cooperation between Iran and Malaysia".

Khairi Bin Omar, for his part, conveyed the greetings of the Malaysian King and the new prime minister to the Iranian nation and government and said that trade, investment, education, science and technology, and tourism are among the fields that can be the basis for the expansion of relations between Iran and Malaysia.
