Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of the Parliament said: "The tragedy of the crash of the Ukrainian plane and the death of a group of our dear compatriots, who were generally elite, weighs heavily on our chest and the Iranian nation like the first day."

Iran PressIran News: On Sunday, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in his pre-agenda speech, stated that the French publication Charlie Hebdo's insult to the leader of the Islamic Revolution is a sign of the Western Front's anger over the failure of the recent unrest project, and said: "Iranian people protected the Islamic Republic’s values despite the economic conditions."

He continued: "Once again, I offer my condolences for the Ukrainian plane crash and I express my deep sympathy to the families of the victims of this accident."

Ghalibaf hoped that with the completion of the process of judicial follow-up of the case of this incident, which is ongoing based on the orders of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and with the cooperation of the responsible institutions and the presence of the families, the lawsuit of this incident will be filed within the framework of the law.

He added: "I also need to stress that the French publication's insult to the leader is the result of the lack of logic and a sign of the Western Front's anger over the failure of the riots project. The enemies of the Islamic Revolution used all their political, economic, international, media, and security capacities and targeted the country, but the wise people of Iran, despite the shortcomings guarded the Islamic Republic."

It is necessary for the Iranian Foreign Ministry to continue its countermeasures against the French government with authority so that everyone understands that they are not allowed to insult the national symbols and beliefs of the Iranian people, he concluded.
