Speaking at the ceremony of exploiting 3,050 deprivation removal plans in different parts of Iran through a webinar, he added that there is a strong will and determination to eradicate poverty in different parts of Iran and it will continue.
Salami emphasized that now, one of the battlefields with the enemy is the sanctions and increasing poverty, which the IRGC has gone to fight poverty and deprivation by implementing deprivation plans. The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC added that the initiative of Basij Musta'afin regarding the elimination of deprivation in the village will result in reverse migration from cities to villages.
Hossein Salami added: "Of course, in the Islamic revolution and according to the Leader,'s guidelines, there has been a serious determination to remove deprivation."
"We will not stop on the path of deprivation and we will remove the image of poverty from the deprived areas of Iran," he pointed out.
The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC about the implementation process of the deprivation plans in Iran said that the reports about the implementation process of the deprivation plans were promising. Hossein Salami emphasized that eliminating deprivation is our goal and that all the needs of rural areas and outskirts of cities should be met.
"All the problems of the society including deprivation and poverty, internal security, and countering the cultural invasion will be solved with the efforts of Basij forces," he concluded.
In this event, which was held in the form of a webinar with the presence of IRGC commanders from different provinces of Iran, several IRGC commanders presented a report to IRGC Commander-in-Chief Hossein Salami about the implementation process of deprivation plans.
It should be mentioned that since the establishment of the Basij Deprivation and Construction Camp in 2020, about 39,000 deprivation projects have been implemented in deprived rural areas and neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city.
