Iran Press/ Iran news: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, at the meeting of the Supreme Council of Space on Wednesday night, called the space industry one of the power-creating industries for Iran and emphasized the need to fully realize the national goals in this industry by taking advantage of the capabilities and knowledge of experts.
Raisi assessed the space industry as a great capital for Iran which should provide the scientific and research needs of its activists because spending in this field is a profitable economic and commercial investment in the world.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, appreciating the efforts made to formulate the 10-year vision of the country's space industry, emphasized the synergy of capacities in the space field and also the use of all the favorable conditions created to promote the country's space industry.
The head of Iran's executive branch also expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the space industry and considered the achievements in this field as proof of the failure of sanctions and efforts to isolate the Islamic Republic of Iran and keep the country behind the world's advanced industries.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that Iran is one of the few countries that has achieved the technology of launching a spacecraft, and added: With the continuation of efforts and the achievement of the scientific ability to deploy a localized satellite in geo-orbit, the threats and sanctions of the enemies in the field of television and satellite broadcasting will be ineffective against Iran.
