"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is conducting an expert review of this issue and will provide a detailed answer after receiving the views of other bodies."

Kanaani added: "Iran has always emphasized its position in this regard on conducting negotiations and consultations with the aim of properly addressing the issue of the Ukrainian plane, and in accordance with its international obligations and internal laws and regulations, it has taken extensive measures in technical, legal, judicial, and international aspects.

On the other hand, the Judicial Organization of the Armed forces, as a legal institution that deals with the criminal aspects of the issue, has been following up on the issue, and so far, numerous meetings of the military court have been held in this regard."

West is complicit in the crimes of the Zionist regime

In his weekly presser, Nasser Kanaani said: The Zionist regime has a long history of aggression in the region. The foundation of the regime is based on the crime of aggression against the Palestinian nation and others, and these actions are carried out under the unconditional and full support of the US and some European countries.

He added: I need to mention the recent resolution approved by the UN General Assembly.

"All the Arab and Islamic countries and even the countries that tried to normalize official political relations with the Zionist regime in recent and past developments voted in favor of the resolution," the spokesman noted, adding, European countries were divided into two groups, half voted against and the other half abstained. Not a single European country was willing to support the resolution.

"The content of the resolution was an "advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) relating to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory of 1967", which according to the United Nations Security Council resolutions, these territories belong to the Palestinians," he noted.

Why don't the Europeans vote for the resolution, which is based on the resolutions approved by the Security Council? Isn't that hypocrisy and duplicity? Is it other than that the US and European governments are complicit in the crimes of the Zionist regime? The answer is definitely yes," Kanaani underscored.
