Tehran (IP)- In a message to The Brazilian Football Confederation vice president, the Secretary General of the Iran Football Federation expressed his condolences on the pass away of Pelé, the Brazilian football legend saying that the loss of the memorable legend of the world football, also saddened millions of football fans in Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Secretary General of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI), in a message to Antônio Aquino, Vice President of Brazil Football Federation, expressing his condolences on the pass away of the football legend of this country, wrote: the pass away of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known by his nickname Pelé, the memorable legend of world football, also saddened millions of football fans in Iran.

Hedayat Mombeini added that Pele, who had traveled to Iran long ago and enjoyed special popularity in the country, played an important role in recording the golden and memorable memories of the world of soccer for many years.

World and Brazilian football legend Pelé, who was hospitalized for a long time due to cancer, passed a few days ago at the age of 82. He is the most honored football player in the world with three World Cup championships.
