Pakistan's Finance Minister emphasized the high importance of his country's relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and added Islamabad is ready to remove obstacles in the way of increasing the volume of bilateral trade with Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: On Friday, Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in a meeting with Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini, emphasized that Islamabad is ready to take all possible measures to remove obstacles in order to increase the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries significantly.

He considered the relations between the two countries deeply rooted, sincere and with a common history and added: "Pakistan always considers its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran very important."

In this meeting, Seyed Muhammad Ali Hosseini also appreciated the economic policies of the government of Pakistan and said: "The historical relations between the two neighbors and the strong cultural and political relations require our commercial and economic cooperation to be at stronger levels.

Hosseini added: "The two countries have great capacty to expand cooperation in the fields of energy, trade and other fields."

Ishaq Dar and Hosseini, while expressing their satisfaction with bilateral relations, shared their interest in increasing cooperation in various fields. 219
