Iran Press/ Iran news: On Friday morning, standing by the side of the late Abbas Shibani's body while reciting the Fatiha, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei offered prayers to that long-time friend and stalwart of the revolution. A group of family and relatives of the late Sheibani were also present in this ceremony.
Abbas Sheibani was one of the old veterans of the Islamic Revolution era, who passed away on the evening of Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Membership in the Council of the Islamic Revolution, representation of the Assembly of Constitutional Experts, Minister of Agriculture, five terms of representation of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Council, the presidency of the University of Tehran, candidacy for the second and fifth terms of the presidential election, and three terms of membership in the Tehran City Council were among his records.
